One of the areas that I have managed to explore a little further was the mention by Dr IM of a research works based in the US, and a book called Landscape and Power, by WJT Mitchell. Dr IM suggested that I researched this book and the essay of one contributor within it called "Harrison".
The book, Landscapes and Power, written by WJT Mitchell, (born 1942), (who is also titled as the Gaylord Donnelly Distinguished Services Professor of English and Art History at the University of Chicago), contains two essays by authors surname Harrison, namely Charles Harrison, who writes about "The Effects of Landscape," which I believe is the essay that Dr Ian M. is referring to, but there is also an essay by Dr Robert Pogue Harrison, (University of Stanford), who writes extensively about semiotics, semiology and "Hic Jacet"... So, off to the reading room for me...
